We do have a few items to keep in mind when deciding to have a party at the Children's Museum:

  • All party fees must be paid in advance of the party date, unless special arrangements are made in advance.
  • A final count of children attending the party is due at least 48 hours before the party start time. This is to insure the museum has plenty of materials needed to make your party a success.
  • Renter may enter the Party Room 15 minutes prior to the start of the Party to set up and decorate.
  • Renter may utilize the refrigerator, freezer and m microwave in the Party Room as needed.
  • For the safety of the children and in fairness to other guests visiting the museum, please keep all food and drinks in the designated party area with table covers on the tables. Please keep drinks in containers.
  • No running in the museum.  Children must WALK within the exhibit floor area.
  • Parents are responsible for the behavior of the children while they are here. Please help us make sure that all guests have a safe and fun filled time.
  • Renter and designated adults must monitor children's activities and behavior in the Museum so as to maintain safe and courteous behavior by children at all times.
  • Museum exhibits and toys may not be used by children to hit other children.
  • Please treat the museum's exhibit pieces with care. Everything is made to be touched or played with, just treat our place the way you would treat your place.
  • Museum exhibits must be cleaned up and put away following play on the Museum exhibit floor by either the children themselves or by the designated responsible adults.
  • Parents and other designated adults are responsible for returning toys that are used during the party visit to designated exhibit areas by the completion time of the party.
  • The Children's Museum does not provide seating and tables for adults. A few chairs and tables are available and may be used as you see fit.
  • Please keep all decorations inside the party area.
  • No tape allowed on exhibit pieces or walls.
  • The museum staff will assist with any needs that your party may have; however, the museum staff is not responsible for items not included in the party package description. Please remember to bring any special items from home such as decorations, balloons, and items of this nature. We will do our best to accommodate any special requests that are made in advance.
  • Renter is responsible for all decorations, food and utensils, paper products, table decorations, gifts, goody bags and other party related items for the party participants.
  • Renter is responsible for cleaning up in the Party Room including wiping off tables, wiping up floor spills, and removal of all trash by the end of the Party time.  Museum will provide liquid cleanser and paper towels for the final clean up.
  • All damages to exhibits and toys occurring during the duration of the party will be paid for by the signer of the birthday party contract.  Museum staff will estimate replacement &/or repair costs.
  • A copy of Birthday Party Rules and Regulations will be part of the Birthday Party Contract to be signed by the Renter.
